Katherine has teaching classes and directing fitness programs in the Twin Cities for over 20 years. Her passion is Seniors — keeping them fit and balanced with a strong core and great posture through group classes.

Class will focus on incorporating your core (abdominals and back) in everyday life by improving your strength, flexibility and balance. This class is full of variety for active seniors! Ben is a certified member of the American Council on Exercise (ACE), Active Older Adults (AOA) with years of experience as a group fitness instructor. He incorporates over 25 years of aerobic, cross training, and running experience along with his extensive background in weight and strength training.

Instructor: Muriel St. Urbain
This lively, interactive, and fun evidence-based exercise program focuses on stretching, flexibility, balance, low impact aerobics and strength training exercises. Muriel has taught exercise classes for 26 years. Fitness is her passion and she believes “Fitness will get you ready for anything.” Come and find out for yourself.

Foot Care Clinic
Licensed nurses provide routine foot care. Services include foot soak, prevention and maintenance of ingrown nails, trimming of toe nails, corns and calluses, and lotion rub. Alzheimer’s Disease Support Group
Monday, April 19, May 17 & July 19

The support group is open to caregivers, family, or friends of people with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. The monthly group offers an opportunity to meet with other family members and friends of those experiencing dementia. We encourage good self-care for the caregivers, we stress confidentiality at the meetings, and offer support and continuing education in enhancing our members’ understanding of Alzheimer’s disease, related dementias and their effects. This program is cosponsored by Golden Living Center of St. Louis Park. Lisa Snyder, CDP,CDCM is the Alzheimer’s Care Director at Golden Living Center in St. Louis Park. Lisa has been trained to facilitate support groups by the Alzheimer’s Association and has facilitated support groups in Senior Centers. She holds a Gerontology Certificate and Bachelors degree from Utah State University. In 2008 she received a Certificate as a Certified Dementia Care Manager (CDCM).
